Status Quo have announced that their 11 date UK

Rock band Status Quo have announced that their 11 UK date winter tour will be coming to Cardiff in December.

The inaugural “QuoFest” tour sees the mighty Status Quo joined on all dates by Roy Wood and Kim Wilde and will be performing at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, December 10.

Christmas parties in the final concert of music is promised.

Tickets cost £37.50 plus booking fee, are on sale now from the Motorpoint Arena box.

Bootleg Beatles will fully support for legendary rockers Status Quo

The famous Bootleg Beatles will fully support for legendary rockers Status Quo at this year's Glastonbury Extravaganza.

The Beatles tribute will support headliners Status Quo on Saturday, August 6, Michael Eavis has announced.

Quo played at the event for last time in 2009 it was a sell out. Then they were supported by Bjorn Again.

The Beatles, Bootleg Beatles have been together since 1980, at Glastonbury Festival in 1994 which caught the eye of Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

The Bootleg, Beatles have performed in front of many thousands celebrities, which some includes are Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Sir George Martin and The Queen.

Michael introduces to Extravaganza supporters, for the first time, Katherine Jenkins, accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra and special guests on 7th August, Saturday.

Tribute act Status Quo turns back to The Box in Pedley Street, Crewe, on Saturday.

Status Quo man for Planet Rock

A series of shows for digital radio station Planet Rock is to host by Status Quo band frontman Francis Rossi.

One show a week for the station will be presented by him from March 6,The programme will commence on Sunday evenings from 6pm to 7pm.

"Over the years I've been in hundreds of radio stations but nobody has ever asked me to have a go myself,” Rossi said. “This time the only person cracking terrible jokes and missing their cues will be me."

“Planet Rock has always brought rock’s greatest artists to the airwaves, giving a rock star’s perspective to life on the road, in the studio and to hear stories never heard on radio before,” added Planet Rock programme director Trevor White.

“Francis has something to say about everyone and everything, the trouble is stopping him…. And his choice of music makes the show a must listen.”

Status Quo announce Thetford Forest concert


At Thetford Forest on Thursday, 9 June 2011, Status Quo have confirmed their participation as part of Forestry Commission Live Music.

Caroline, Down Down and Whatever You Want are classic songs by band which they will going to perform at their only appearance in the East this year.

In summer 2008 band last appeared in Norfolk.

"We are pleased to make Thetford part of our touring plans for 2011," said lead guitarist Francis Rossi.

"Forestry Commission Live Music is a fantastic annual event that has become a statutory part of the UK's live music calendar.

"We love to bag a trip to the woods each year."

For the summer concerts at Thetford Forest,Status Quo join Erasure and Simple Minds as confirmed acts.

Status Quo To Perform Mountain Top Concert in Austria


Ischgl in Austria is glad to announced that Status Quo band will be performing at a specially constructed arena high in the mountains above the village.Following guitarist Rick Parfitt’s recent health scare it would going to be the band’s first concert.

The concert, on Sunday 23 April, will be at Alp Trida at 2488m and will be the first of two stunning concerts to round off Ischgl’s 05-06 season. The star for the Top Of The Mountain season closing concert on Sunday 30 April is due to be announced in the next couple of weeks. Previous performers have included Diana Ross, Sting, Elton John and Peter Gabriel.
