On August 22, 2012, Status Quo are set to perform at the Clickimin centre in Lerwick. The band is more acquainted with playing city arenas and football ground.

Rockin All Over The World is one of their massive hits.

They are being invited to the islands by businessman Malcolm Younger to collect funds for the Callum Younger Reach Fund.

Status Quo have announced that their 11 date UK

Rock band Status Quo have announced that their 11 UK date winter tour will be coming to Cardiff in December.

The inaugural “QuoFest” tour sees the mighty Status Quo joined on all dates by Roy Wood and Kim Wilde and will be performing at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, December 10.

Christmas parties in the final concert of music is promised.

Tickets cost £37.50 plus booking fee, are on sale now from the Motorpoint Arena box.

The 'Rocking All Over the World' singer adds he grudgingly features Liam Gallagher's new band, even though he hates the "grumpy" frontman.

Francis said: "I quite like that single they did, I can't remember the name, I didn't want to. I don't want to like him, he's got that sort of face, he's a grumpy sod. But I do like them I have to admit it."

Liam's former band Oasis in their 90s Britpop rivals traditional rock 'n' roll from stigma, famous for Status Quo were compared.
